Director Marija Kavtaradze makes movies about unique, complex characters and problems that are not openly discussed. The film "Slow" is about the true and impossible nature of intimacy; it was shot on grainy tape and shows the characters in close-up from a small distance. This year, Lithuania nominated Marija's film for the Oscar, and now the director is traveling with screenings in the USA, so she will greet the audience in Vilnius’ Scalvija film center from the screen. And both of the film's starring actors, Greta Grineviciute and Kęstutis Cicėnas, will present the film to the audience. The conversation will be moderated by Almira Usmanova, professor of the Department of Social Sciences at EHU.
