The story of how the legendary Zlatan Ibrahimović went from being Malmö’s greatest hero to almost a persona non grata in his own hometown has long become the stuff of urban legend. Once worshipped as a demigod by the local fans, Zlatan fell from grace after making the controversial decision in 2019 to become co-owner of Stockholm’s “Hammarby” — the archrival of "Malmö FF". Soon after, his bronze statue outside the city stadium became a target of vandalism — until, one night, someone literally cut off its nose. The mysterious disappearance of the nose shocked the entire Swedish football community, prompting three TV journalists to turn its investigation into a full-fledged true-crime story. Their unlikely ally is eccentric private detective Claes Ekman, whose obsession with old spy movies leads the case down an unexpected and thrilling path.
