The animated musical offers audiences a fresh take on an ancient Norwegian legend about a prince transformed into a bear and his magical love story. Young and brave Liv (voiced by Kristine Kujath Thorp, known from Ninjababy and Sick of Myself), dreaming of leaving her home forest, journeys into the mountains, where she meets the majestic polar bear Kvitebjørn. A warm friendship develops between the girl and the mysterious bear, only to reveal that Kvitebjørn is actually the cursed Prince Valemon, imprisoned by an evil sorceress. Liv must find the courage to break the spell and help her friend regain his human form. Written by acclaimed author Maja Lunde, the film blends classic fairy-tale motifs with modern themes of choice, responsibility, and care for the environment.
