The feature debut of Gen Z filmmakers Raul and Romet Esko is a self-ironic exploration of twinhood and a chaotic coming-of-age drama. The 25-year-old brothers, who have shared everything in life, now face an impossible task — learning independence without losing their bond. Their journey — from an Estonian film school to distant Nigeria — turns into a metaphorical voyage “to the center of the world and back.” Along the way, not only is the saying “two heads are better than one” put to the test, but so is the Eskos’ romantic idea of making “a film that could one day change the world.” Balancing between documentary and fiction, the film becomes a vivid portrait of the TikTok generation searching for itself under the almost constant gaze of the camera.
